What is Pastoral Therapy?

Pastoral Therapy is like regular counseling or therapy.

As a pastoral therapist under supervision for licensure, I am held to the same standards of all licensed mental health professionals. The only difference is that I have been trained to specifically address issues in counseling related to spirituality, religious values, and personal faith beliefs.

But I will never bring these issues up unless you want to address them.

Just think of me as a professional therapist with trained and caring ears open for spirituality and religion. I am under supervision for licensure as a Clinical Pastoral Therapist in the state of TN. I am a professional member of the following counseling organizations: ACA, CAPS, and TNAPT.
